Gibson J160E John Lennon Limited Edition
I am the proud owner of a vintage Gibson J160e John Lennon limited edition that I bought two years ago.
I love it to bits but it was in need of a professional setup and some more intricate fret and saddle work as well as a repair of the push knob.
Greg came highly recommended by the brilliant folk at Promenade Music, still I was a bit worried to hand my baby over. I needn't have worried! Greg did an amazing job. The frets are now pristine, the playability is perfect, the electrics work flawlessly. He put the best choice of strings on, too for my needs (I play it through a Vox AC30). Low action, no more string buzz, frets are shiny.
All this in a very timely manner and a very reasonable price.
This certainly won't be the only guitar I will ask him to service. In fact, he's already got another one of mine!
